What makes this lesson special is
the fact that it includes a free movie on the Trail of Tears. The movie is 23
minutes long and is appropriate for grades 4 and up. Students will be able to
write predictions for the film and learn about food rations while on Trail of
Tears. This lesson also creates a platform for group work and collaboration.
