This lesson allows students to reenact
the events of the Trail of Tears. This enables the students to really get a
feel of how the Native Americans might have felt about being removed from their
home in such harsh conditions. This lesson will also make the students think
about how the Native American children must have felt. This lesson is
appropriate for grades 3 and up.
