This lesson is a simulation of the Trail
of Tears. Within this lesson, students will be able to simulate the Cherokee
Nation’s removal and discuss the reasons for the removal. The lesson also
provides the poem "The Never-Ending Trail" by Abe
"Del" Jones. This lesson is for grades 6 through 8, but can be
adapted for lower grades.
